Data Deletion
Moova is operated by ORCA Hub for Development and Training of Human Resources. This page explains how to delete your data from Moova Assistant and Moova Ordering.
Businesses using Moova Assistant
- Disconnect an account: in Moova, open Settings → Connections and disconnect the Facebook Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp number. We stop receiving new data from it straight away.
- Remove Moova from Meta: on Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations; on Instagram, go to Settings → Apps and websites. Remove the Moova app.
- Delete your workspace and its data: email us from the address on your Moova account with the subject "Moova data deletion request" and the workspace name. We will delete the workspace's conversations, business information and connection tokens.
People who messaged a business through Moova
If you messaged a shop, café or restaurant that uses Moova on WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger, you can ask the business or us to delete your conversation data. Email us with the subject "Moova data deletion request", the business name, and your Instagram username, Facebook name or WhatsApp number, so we can find the records.
Moova Ordering customers
Open the Moova app, go to Settings → Delete account, and confirm. This deletes your account, clears data stored in the app and signs you out everywhere. If you can't use the app, email us with the subject "Moova account deletion request" and the email address or phone number on your account.
What happens next
- We may ask you to verify that the data is yours. Never send passwords or verification codes.
- We complete requests within 30 days and confirm by email.
- We may keep some records where the law requires it, or for fraud prevention and security, such as order and invoice records. Backups are deleted on a rolling schedule.
- Deleting data from Moova does not delete messages held by Meta, WhatsApp or the business in their own apps.
